MCP Bridge

Give Claude access to the tools a web app publishes in your browser — with nothing installed on your computer.

1. Your bridge key

This key is your identity here. It is generated in this browser and never sent to the server except as part of the addresses below. Keep it to yourself.

2. Add the connector to Claude

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste this URL:

3. Pair a web app

Open the web app and click its Connect to Claude button.
Paste your bridge key from step 1 into the modal. You only do this once per site.
The modal shows a session token. Copy the line it gives you.

4. Tell Claude to connect

Paste that line into the chat. It reads:

connect to mcp_bridge with session token: <your session token>

Claude can then list, inspect and run the tools the page offers.

Refresh your key

Use this if your key may have leaked. It generates a new one and the old connector URL stops working immediately. Every web app you have paired will need pairing again, and you will need to update the connector URL in Claude.

Your page publishes its tools with the WebMCP imperative API; the element picks them up on its own. There is a working example.
